The amount of decorative reindeer moss required per square meter (1 m²) typically ranges from 4 to 8 kg. However, this amount can vary significantly depending on the gluing method and the style in which you create your moss artwork or product. After removing the roots, you can either glue the entire plant to the base or, for a more refined appearance, use only the upper parts of the moss. The latter method usually requires more moss.
We strongly do not recommend it - stabilised mosses are intended for interior use. If you would still like to place it outside, only under a canopy, pergola, etc. However, a significant reduction in service life must be expected.
Moss is very durable and can last up to 10 years (or even more). The advantage of stabilised mosses and plants is that they require almost no maintenance
To attach moss to a base, we recommend using hot melt glue sticks or special adhesives designed for florists. Make sure the base is clean and dry before applying the glue to ensure a strong bond.
