We are delighted to introduce these handcrafted ukuleles, made with passion and tradition. These are not your average, factory-produced instruments - each one carries the story of an entire village in Central Java, Indonesia, known as Guitar Village.

In this special village, artisans work together, each specializing in different parts of the instrument. One group crafts the bodies, another carves the necks, and through collaboration, they create these beautiful, high-quality ukuleles.

These ukuleles are made in the soprano size, the traditional and most popular ukulele size, making them an excellent choice for beginners and experienced musicians alike.

We have an exclusive contract with the family producing these ukuleles, ensuring that every instrument sold directly supports their craft and helps their community grow. By adding these to your inventory you’re also supporting artisans and their livelihood.

Do not confuse these with plastic or factory produced, they are made with love and nice attention to detail. The bD logo on the neck represents Bondhan, our talented Indonesian designer and musician, who played a key role in developing this range.
